Before you book
Booking terms
How booking, payment, cancellation and safety work on our treks and tours. Please read them before you confirm.

Making a booking
Send us a request through the booking form, by email or on WhatsApp. We reply with availability, the itinerary and a quote. Your booking is confirmed once you have accepted the quote and we have received the deposit, and we have sent you a written confirmation.
Prices are per person, in euros, and include what is listed on each trek page under “What’s included”.
Payment
A deposit of [30%] secures your booking. The balance is paid [in cash in euros or dirhams on the first day / by bank transfer 14 days before departure]. We accept [bank transfer, card payment link, cash].
If you cancel
Please tell us in writing (email or WhatsApp). The following charges apply:
- More than 30 days before departure: full refund of the deposit, minus any bank fees.
- 15 to 30 days before departure: the deposit is kept.
- Less than 15 days before departure, or no-show: 100% of the price is due.
You can usually move your booking to new dates instead, free of charge, if you tell us at least [7 days] before departure.
If we cancel or change a trek
If we have to cancel a trek before departure, for example because of closed roads, extreme weather or official restrictions, we offer new dates or a full refund of what you have paid. We are not responsible for flights or hotels booked separately, which is one more reason to have travel insurance.
Safety and the guide’s decision
The mountains set the rules. Your guide may change the itinerary, the pace or turn back before the summit because of the weather, the snow, the condition of the route or the health of anyone in the group. The guide’s decision is final. Days lost to weather or to a decision taken for safety are not refunded, but we always try to offer an alternative.
Since 2019 trekkers in the Toubkal area must be accompanied by a licensed mountain guide. Please follow your guide’s instructions at all times.
Health and fitness
Each trek page describes the level of fitness needed. You agree to tell us about any medical condition that could affect you on the trek. Treks above 3,000 m involve a risk of altitude sickness; please read our advice on altitude and ask your doctor if you are unsure.
Travel insurance
Travel insurance that covers trekking up to 4,200 m, mountain rescue, medical evacuation and cancellation is required on all multi-day treks. Please bring the policy number and emergency phone number with you.
Our responsibility
We take care to choose reliable guides, drivers and accommodation and to run every trek safely. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by your own actions, by events outside our control (such as weather, natural events, strikes or official decisions) or by services you booked directly with third parties. [Insurance: name your professional liability insurer, if any.]
Questions and complaints
If something is not right during your trek, tell your guide straight away so we can fix it. After the trek, write to contact@
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. [Competent court, e.g. the courts of Marrakesh.] If you live in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
